The papers dealt with in this volume comprise domestic and official correspondance, memoranda, and other documents, accumaltedd during a period of nearly two centuries, 1515-1690, by a North Wales family,the Wynns of Gwydir, of which the best known member was Sir John Wynn (1553-1627), the first baronet, and author of The History of the Gwdir Family.
